I Can Do All Bad Myself.

Hey guys, let's state the fact.
I can do bad or Good myself, don't go blaming either on anyone.

You see I can totally understand when you blame a mother for the fact that her 10year old child can't sweep or do house chores.
But it won't make so much sense to go blaming a mother for her 19year old who still can't do a thing.

This is one of the direct piece I'm gonna be writing.

The truth is people will advice you, suggest to you what to do but its your decision to do as they say or not.
You are the decision maker of your life.
Don't go pushing blames on others,  you won't move ahead doing that,  rather you should take charge of your life.

Ensure you get the best out of it, forget who told you not to, forget who told you its only going to remain a dream, forget who said your vision for life is only but a fantasy, put behind the thought of where and how to start or go about your goals.
Someone once said the only way to start is to start.
Take that decision that's gonna change your life for good today,  and we will see at the Top where we all belong.

Yea, l'm in the fashion industry, Sophire_bleu is the brand name and it started in 2014, women clothings and kids wear (both gender), bespoke and ready to wear outfits and we expanding into bridal wears too.



So you have been into fashion designing for two (2) years now, tell me how did it all start up?

*smiles * let me say it's being more than two (2) years (laughing),  but I never took it serious not until a competition came up and a friend (Dave) told me about it and encouraged me to participate and that was when I realised my first look book😊.

Wow you have a look book,What does it entail? you see I really know little about fashion. 

Yeah...some few designs...😊

 Well, one really needs to know what's trending, be updated in the fashion world , understand color and how it works , be skilled , being versatile. .. because outfit speak.

Most importantly... having an idea of what you want to bring, time reality matters.... that's where sketching comes in, rough or perfect sketch it always helps... make the work pretty easy.

I forgot to mention earlier i'm fashion illustrator....which is a hobby 😆

Awesome, But what you are saying is someone who doesn't know much about fashion can't get into fashion?

If someone with less knowledge about fashion wants to go into fashion designing there won't be a problem, the fact the person has decided to,  it means there's  an interest which brings about passion; and there is nothing one can't achieve when there is passion with more or less knowledge about passion, everyone learn everyday...so someone with less knowledge of fashion can sure go into fashion designing.

But will need more opening to learn right?

Certainly, Register for  fashion classes in any fashion institutions around were he or she knows she can the knowledge. .. education is key in  everything

As you know the aim is to let youth have a reason they can go into fashion designing, at this point the floor is yours please give the readers a convinced reason for your field and how to go about it?

As I said earlier it all begins with passion,  fashion designing is the type of business anyone will excel in and enjoy whether you want to make it  a profession or a hobby.. that's always an excitement when you make something from nothing whether it's an old cloth you want to rebrand or a new one.

Formal education is necessary both mistakes we make as youths is to depend 100% on it...ain't cool...

Trust me someone with fashion designing skill always have an edge over his or her friends ..c'on it's cloths...and we rock them every day

Fashion designing is super profitable

You are making so much sense hmmm.

But is it Stress free...no😀

So to say. ..nothing good comes easy...

So...anyone who's interested in fashion designing.

Things you will certainly need.

●register for fashion classes

●buy a sewing machine

●scissor and measuring tape

●drawing book... to enable you sketch out ideas of the designs you want to create.

Practice and keep practising till perfection ☺.

Downsize your ego...please you can learn from anybody... no matter where...don't mind the environment

No to Abuse

Left right, left right, up down
I tossed from the bed, down to the couch, till I landed on the floor.

Was it the way I treated him, was it the way I eagerly ran errands for him, or the manner at which i accorded him with so much respect, was it really something I did?

He was meant to be my uncle, I trusted him, my parents believed in him, my guard was covered when am with him, we all believed cause he was my shield.

It really couldn't have been because he watched me grow, after all he warned me about boys but here I am in the river flowing with my own tears.

My Hymen is broken against my will, via violence , where do I place my confidence, who do i trust , is the devil really a spirit wandering around or the one that dwells in a man the moment he takes from us forcefully what he shouldn't.

Abused, ashamed and brought so low I wonder what could have been the reason, it's certainly not the long gown mum always had me wear.

Betrayed by trust, set loose violently,  I didn't ask for this, where then do I go.

What's gonna happen, i've been abused by who was meant to be family, what more is dangerous.

Can't keep quiet, No way,  this is wrong.

Don't hurt that young girl, that pretty lady wrongly,  you tamper with her Self-Worth and Confidence for a lifetime for your 5minutes pleasure.

#No to any form of Violence

In every human there is a demon..
In each gender there are different strategies it exploits.

If today she becomes your punching bag just because you can't Manup and put aside your ego and anger, it really won't change her sharp mouth! You only become a demon.

If today you torture your man with emotions and needs as a companion because he hurts you, it really doesn't make you better than he is, it only proves you lack the qualities to bring out the best in him.

But really who says abusing her makes you a better man and grants you respect? Hell No! It grants you Fear in the heart of all and hate. Of What is a man who is only surrounded by hate?

Really sweety being "a mean gurl" doesn't make you respectable to guys, it doesn't make you any better than the morally behaved young lady next door, it only makes you appear unpolished.

If all we do to each other is pour out our rage in every way we can, at every opportunity we get, we only build the demon in us and rather than make each other better we tend to make each other even worse

 Please sir, introduce yourself.

 My name is Martins Owa Mathias
A Digital graphic Artist and A film maker.

 Wow all in one, nice.

What exactly does this fields  entails?

😀

 As graphic artist, i assemble together pixels, colours, images, typography, or motion graphics to create a piece of design.

While as a film maker or film director, i'm in charge of making, leading, and developing movie productions

Wheww, that so much to take in.

But then anyone can do something with an image or color, why then is a graphic designer needed? Or an artist as u call it.

Though when it comes to art, i consider myself a free spirited designer, meaning i don’t place myself under a certain category. i just create as i feel at a given moment. so most times its even difficult for me to explain the end before creating.

 So their is a huge difference between an artist and a graphic designer in my perspective

A great artist is but a conduit or fluid for an expression that resonates with something that is greater than him or herself - Imaginary Foundation.

Deep words, but then how productive is this field?

Well, it solely depends on the individuals point of interest.

 Either Business, Fun or anything, it is highly productive.

 Hmmm for someone who is approaching this field for profit reasons, is it gonna be a positive pursuit?

 It cannot be phantomed,  The only thing that  can make out the difference is environment; The environment he or she finds herself.

Yes, well, I'm not a business Artist.

Knowing your field first will ease you so much, for instance, when you're able to separate business from family and friends.

The aim of this series is to let youths understand the various options of career out there and not have to wait on office jobs, so with this opportunity to talk to youths about your field what will your advice be?

Well, Knowing your area of strength is the number one factor.
In art there are various fields.
see what others are not doing and then go ahead and do it, you must know why you choose the field.

Start with the gadgets you have and share your ideas with friends and tell friends to tell friends and so on... Build the circle like that.
Choose a particular field, focus on it and be very excellent at it.
I think, hence the world would see the genius in you.

You are a man of many wise words I must say.
As a host I plead for the first 3steps to take to becoming successful in this field? So anyone aspiring can learn from it.

Step 1 Borrow a laptop(if you don't have one).
Step 2 have a flash with the desired program in it.
Step 3 install the program then start practicing
And when the laptop is gone go borrow another One.
Repeat the same process until you're able to buy yours
It might seem uncomfortable but it's worth it.

Believe me guys these steps are important cause its coming from a man who has been through that process.
One last question as we wrap up.
If you have one huge opportunity to create something for youths what will it be?

An art institution!!!

Why will that be?

Not just a school, but a creative place where people will connect to divinity... Because what people are driven with will be provided for.
I see what people don't.. If given the chance I will change humanity... We want to express.
Express something deeper than life itself, something that is larger than us.
That's what I will do with people.
